Pozycja Open Access Aktualny stan flory i znaczenie osobliwości florystycznych dla różnorodności szaty roślinnej rezerwatu „Grądowe zbocza” koło Recza(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2011) Bacieczko, Wanda; Wołejko, Lesław; Katedra Dendrologii i Kształtowania Terenów Zieleni, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Katedra Dendrologii i Kształtowania Terenów Zieleni, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczeciniePresent state and the evaluation of vascular flora of the nature reserve „Grądowe Zbocza” is presented. In this forest-type reserve, situated in the Recz commune (Western Pomerania) 216 species of vascular plants were found, including 34 protected, endangered and rare species. Newly found localities of interesting species include two neophytes: Scutellaria altissima and Phyteuma nigrum, which are extremely rare in northern Poland. The occurrence of the majority of ineresting species is associated with the forest communities Circaeo-Alnetum and different forms of Stellario-Carpinetum, which are also listed as valuable and protected Natura 2000 habitats.Pozycja Open Access Biologiczna aktywność gleby zanieczyszczonej antracenem(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2011) Hawrot-Paw, Małgorzata; Ryłów, Małgorzata; Zakład Mikrobiologii i Biotechnologii Środowiska, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Zakład Mikrobiologii i Biotechnologii Środowiska, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczeciniePaper presents study results upon evaluating the influence of anthracene on the numbers of the three main taxonomic groups of soil microflora. Variable factors in the experiment was a dose of hydrocarbon, temperature and incubation time. It was found that the largest group of microorganisms in the studied soil were bacteria, actinomycetes was considerably less and fungi. Microorganisms showed different sensitivity to the presence of anthracene, which depended on the dose, and the impact this has changed with time. On the basis of average values for the whole period of incubation was found that a significant effect on the number of bacteria was dose 1000 mg · kg–1, for actinomyces, 100 and 1000 mg · kg–1 and for fungi 10 000 mg · kg–1. Higher temperatures caused a rise in the number of bacteria and the limited development of the actinomycetes and fungi.Pozycja Open Access Charakterystyka nielegalnych wysypisk zlokalizowanych na terenie gminy Kobylanka(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2011) Zabłocki, Zdzisław; Podlasińska, Joanna; Kruczek, Izabela; Katedra Ochrony i Kształtowania Środowiska, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Katedra Ochrony i Kształtowania Środowiska, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Katedra Ochrony i Kształtowania Środowiska, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczecinieDuring the field inspection carried out in 2009 within the area of Kobylanka community 17 illegal waste dumping sites were surveyed. For each waste dumping site the photographical documentation as well calculation of its area and deposed wastes volume were done. The share of wastes in dominated wastes classes collected on waste dumping sites were evaluated. Among 17 illegal waste dumping sites dominate category of small and medium point ones (11) on which domestic and construction wastes were predominately collected. Surveyed sites covered the area of 10320 m2 ; volume of wastes was about 6793 m3 . Only at the two largest areas (covering 80% of total area under investigation) about 70% of wastes were collected, mainly large dimensional and construction ones. Forests and natural depressions are the most common places for illegal wastes disposal. This can testify as an intention of local community members for hiding the illegally disposed wastes.Pozycja Open Access Chronione, zagrożone i rzadko spotykane gatunki roślin naczyniowych w gminie Boleszkowice (województwo zachodniopomorskie)(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2011) Ziarnek, Magdalena; Ziarnek, Krzysztof; Zakład Botaniki i Ochrony Przyrody, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Zakład Botaniki i Ochrony Przyrody, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczecinieAs a result of floristic research carried out in years 2001 and 2009 in Boleszkowice commune, 657 species of vascular plants were found. Analysis of the biometrical features showed that fruit of tomato cultivars: Aurelius F1, Merkury F1, Red Chief F1 and Megana F1 was characterized by significantly thicker pericarp in comparison with common field cultivar Malinowy Henryka. Comparing to this cultivar – higher fruit weight was noted for cultivars: Złoty Ożarowski, Red Chief F1 and Aurelius F1, Merkury F1.Pozycja Open Access Osobliwe oczko wodne na Pojezierzu Południowo-Ełckim(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2011) Jasnowska, Janina; Zakład Botaniki i Ochrony Przyrody, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczecinieThe small pond (1.3 ha) in the moraine landscape of Pojezierze Ełckie is characteristic for its natural values, especially floral diversity, indicating the existence of various habitats in the same area. They are: the calciphilous charas community Charetum fragilis, representing EU Habitat Directive oligotrophic and mezotrophic water containers with underwater Chara meadows (code 3140), eutrophic waterlilies Nupharo-Nymphaeetum community and water milfoil community Myriophylletum spicati – representing old river-bed and natural eutrophic water containers with associations from Nymphaeion and Potamion (code 3150). Worth mentioning is also mezotrophic the north water lily community Nymphaeetum candidae, which is under strict protection. In the neighbourhood there are patches of riverside carr Circaeo-Alnetum (code 91EO) and Ficaro-Ulmetum (code 91FO) forests. There are also found other protected animal species. The map of objects’ vegetation with marked sites is presented. The analysis of phytocenoses’ distribution shows, that fertile habitats are connected to eutrophication caused by water flowing down from the crop fields, threatening nature mezotrophic habitats.Pozycja Open Access Porównanie wyników instrumentalnej i sensorycznej analizy tekstury wybranych gatunków serów(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2011) Balejko, Jerzy A; Balejko, Edyta; Zakład Inżynierii Procesowej i Maszynoznawstwa, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Zakład Podstaw Żywienia Człowieka, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczecinieFor comparison of results of sensory and instrumental analysis, six kinds of fatty cheeses, of different hardness were subjected. Instrumental tests were carried out by the device in which viscoelastic materials were subjected to dynamic sinusoidal deformations (imitating the chewing process), letting for receiving stress as the relation of the time or the deformation. Statistical analysis of outcomes of the sensory assessment and results of the instrumental assessment showed a strong correlation between these results in case of measurements of the hardness (r = 0.84), springinesses (r = 0.75), guminess (r = 0.80) and chewiness (r = 0.84). The comparison between results of the sensory evaluation and instrumental assessment with use of the analysis of main components showed the strong positive correlation between hardness, springness and gumminess, and chewability, weaker positive correlation related to results of adhesiveness and cohesiveness.Pozycja Open Access Potamogeton nodosus Poir. A present day vegetation cover of these fens is composed of 11 plant communities belonging to three vegatation classes: Scheuchzerio-Caricetea nigrae, Phragmitetea and Molinio-Arrhenatheretea. The spatial relationship between the different mire components is analysed in respect to history of land use and the mire regeneration processes. Concepts of active mire protection is discussed in relation to particular local situation and hydrological conditions.Pozycja Open Access Siedliska przyrodnicze w ramach sieci Natura 2000 na obszarze doliny strumienia Stróżewskiego (woj. Zachodniopomorskie)(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2011) Bacieczko, Wanda; Klera, Magdalena; Kochanek-Felusiak, Agnieszka; Katedra Dendrologii i Kształtowania Terenów Zieleni, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Ośrodek Szkoleniowo-Badawczy w Zakresie Energii Odnawialnej, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Katedra Dendrologii i Kształtowania Terenów Zieleni, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczecinieAfter the accession of Poland to European Union new formal regulations concerning nature conservation came into force. The applied legal documents are: 1) 92/43/EWG Council Directive from the 21st May of 1992, known as Habitat Directive and 2) 2009/147/WE Council Directive from 30th November 2009 so called Bird Directive. The Habitat Directive covers the protection of natural habitats and wild fauna and flora. The lack of proper analysis of natural habitats of StróŜewski Stream Valley according to recent formal standards and their protection urges was the cause for undertaking detailed studies on the topic. The natural habitats were appointed after the phytosociological studies toward the lowland during the research period (2007–2009). The main identifiers were plant assemblages with adequate PHYSIS codes. There were 10 valuable natural sites identified and coded on the area of the StróŜewski Stream lowland, representing aquatic, waterside, peat bog, variable humidity and fresh meadows or forest vegetation. The most significant area amongst them is inhabited by fresh meadows and dry-ground forest.Pozycja Open Access Skład chemiczny i jakość białka konwencjonalnej i genetycznie zmodyfikowanej poekstrakcyjnej śruty sojowej(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2011) Biel, Wioletta; Zakład Żywienia Zwierząt i Żywności, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczecinieThe aim of this study was estimation of composition and quality of protein of genetically-modified (GM) soybean meal studied in experiment on laboratory rats. No statistical differences were found in the results of chemical composition and nutritive value. A high content of exogenous amino acids was found. This was reflected in high nutritive value on the basic on CS, EAAI and predicted PER and BV. The final indicators of biological value (PER, BV and TD) were hight and did not differ statistically across GM soybean meal and non-modified and were similary with caseine. It was concluded that soybean meal produced from glyphosate-tolerant GM soybean (Roundup Ready) are nutritionally equivalent to conventional feed.Pozycja Open Access Stan i perspektywy rozwoju gospodarstw agroturystycznych w powiecie Drawskim(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2011) Kalbarczyk, Eliza; Kamińska, Anna; Kalbarczyk, Robert; Zakład Meteorologii i Klimatologii, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Zakład Meteorologii i Klimatologii, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Zakład Meteorologii i Klimatologii, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczecinieThe study evaluated the offer and profitability of agritourism farms of the Drawsko district, defined both a typical recipient of an agritouristic offer and a farm owner. The study utilised the results of a survey conducted from June to August 2009 in 29 agritourism farms operating in four communes of the district. It was found that the offer of the majority of the agritourism farms in the district provides active leisure in rural area but do not ensure participation in the activities of a farm. It seems that attractions offered to children, who constitute a large group of tourists, are relatively scarce. A unique offer would make possible increasing competitiveness and profitability of an individual farm. The responses given by the owners of the farms confirmed the opinion that at present agritourism cannot be treated as a basic income source but as an extra source.Pozycja Open Access Stan i zagrożenia populacji Luronium natans (l.) Rafin w Jeziorze Orzechowskim koło Nowogardu(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2011) Kowalski, Wojciech W. A.; Piotrowska, Julia; Zakład Botaniki i Ochrony Przyrody, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Zakład Botaniki i Ochrony Przyrody, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczecinieLuronium natans is a rare, endangered and protected species, which requires areas Nature 2000 to be designated. The research on the population of this species in Orzechowskie Lake (Western Pomerania, Poland) was conducted in 2007. 21 concentrations of Luronium natans, each on area 0.04–1.0 m2 were recorded and characterized. In 12 of them blooming specimens were observed, but fruits were not found. The plant propagates only vegetative on described site. On the basis of 12 releves Luronietum natantis community was distinguished with Luronium natans and Hydrocotyle vulgaris as dominant.Pozycja Open Access Struktura geograficzno-historyczna flory zbiorowisk upraw zbóż ozimych i kilkunastoletnich odłogów(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2011) Kutyna, Ignacy; Malinowska, Katarzyna; Katedra Ochrony i Kształtowania Środowiska, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Zakład Fizjologii Roślin, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczecinieThe paper presents the geographical and historical spectrum of agrophytocoenoses flora of winter crops cultivation and a dozen year old fallows adjacent to them, in the area of the south-western part of the Szczecin Plain. A series of anthropogenic indices were determined. 242 phytosociologic releves taken within the area of differentiated soil conditions were used in the description. The affiliation of individual taxons to the geographical and historical status was determined and then anthropogenic indices were calculated. In regard to the scope of natural character of the examined flora biotopes, the contribution of nonsynanthropic spontaneophytes (Sp) is symbolic, and the indices are very small what results from the aricultural use of biotopes. The flora of both differently exploited habitats is under strong anthropopression and this is a favourable factor for synanthropization of phytocoenoses. The values of (Sw) and (Sp) are very large and they confirm the process of restructure of the communities. A clear change is observed in the floristic character of fallows in which the contribution of apophytes increases. The process of apophyzation is confirmed by larger values of indices (Aw) and (Ap) in phytocoenoses of fallows. In segetal communities of winter crops markedly dominant are archeophytes and the (Ar) index is significantly larger than that in the flora of fallows. The influence of a human being on the communities of winter crops cultivation is also confirmed by a larger index of flora general anthropophytisation (An). The contribution of kenophytes and diaphytes is symbolic and the indices of kenophytization (Kn) and fluctuation changes in the total flora (FLC) are very small. The high indices of total flora stability (TC) confirm the stability of floristic composition of the studied phytocoenoses.Pozycja Open Access Szata roślinna i ochrona walorów rezerwatu „Kamienna Buczyna” na Pojezierzu Ińskim (województwo zachodniopomorskie)(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2011) Ziarnek, Magdalena; Ziarnek, Krzysztof; Zakład Botaniki i Ochrony Przyrody, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Zakład Botaniki i Ochrony Przyrody, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczecinieThe paper presents results of floristic and phytosociological works provided in 2006 in nature reserve “Kamienna Buczyna” in Iński Landscape Park (NW Poland). The objective of reserve established in 1985 is preservation of forest communities and characteristic moraine landscape. There have been found 11 species under legal protection and 3 habitats protected in Natura 2000 area (Galio sylvatici-Carpinetum, Galio odorati-Fagetum i Luzulo pilosae Fagetum). There was observed regeneration of preserved forest habitats, but also degeneration of the parts of reserve where the coniferous treestand still exist.Pozycja Open Access Use of Ash and Slag from Power Generation in Agriculture of Russia(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2011) Putilov, Viacheslav; Stankowski, Sławomir; Putilova, Irina; Uchevatov, Alexander; Moscow Power Engineering Institute (Technical University); West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin; Moscow Power Engineering Institute (Technical University); Moscow Power Engineering Institute (Technical University)A practice of the global agriculture testifies that in areas with wash moisture regime it’s impossible to create high fertility of soil without liming. For example, soil in the Far East of Russia, Krasnoyarsk Region is the most acidic, has a heavy grain composition and is often overdamped. Therefore, to improve the growing conditions of crops and their nutritive conditions, it is necessary to apply ameliorants. The main chemical ameliorants of acidic soil are carbonates – limestone and dolomite. In connection with increase in price for transport services and prices for imported fertilizers attention is now paid to use of the recycled materials, including use of local ash and slag in agriculture as ameliorants and fertilizers. Moreover, in many cases there are large amounts of ash accumulated at ash disposals near operating coal- -fired TPPs. However, for using ash and slag for soil deoxidization relevant studies are to be carried out, taking into account specific properties of ash and slag materials and initial soil properties.Pozycja Open Access Wielkość i jakość plonu bulw potomnych frezji z grupy Easy Pot w zależności od rodzaju i dawki nawozu(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2011) Żurawik, Piotr; Zawadzińska, Agnieszka; Pracownia Roślin Ozdobnych, Katedra Ogrodnictwa, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Pracownia Roślin Ozdobnych, Katedra Ogrodnictwa, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczecinieExperiments were conducted in the years 2006–2007, in spring-summer season, in the unheated foil tunnel. Corms and cormlets of freesia from Easy Pot Group (‘Gompey’, ‘Popey’ and ‘Suzy’) were the plant material. The influence of traditional fertilizer Azofoska and the slow-release fertilizers Osmocote Plus 5/6M, Osmocote Exact and Polyon 5/6 was evaluated in the experiments. Among all evaluated cultivars ‘Gompey’ was characterized by the greatest coefficient of corm number increase. Coefficient of corm weight increase depended on the size of planted corms. When freesia was cultivated from corms all fertilizers affected increase of both coefficients. Whereas, in experiments where cormlets were the plant material, Polyon affected decrease of the yield of freesia, independently on its dose. The greatest yield of corms was obtained when Osmocote Plus and Osmocote Exact were used, independently on cultivar, size of corms and dose of fertilizer.
