Aim of the experiments was evaluation of trinexapac-ethyl used on different nitrogen fertilization level. The objectives of the experiment was winter triticale cv. Fidelio. Trineksapak ethyl (TE) was applied in alone in two doses 75 g a.i. . ha-1 and 125 g a.i. . ha-1 and in a mixture with chlorocholine chloride (CCC) in dose 50 g a.i. . ha-1 (TE) + 675 g a.i. . ha-1 (CCC) on three nitrogen fertilisation levels. Nitrogen fertilisation was applied in 0 kg N . ha-1, 80 kg N . ha-1 and 160 (80 + 80) kg N . ha-1. Evaluation contains such measurements as stem length, ear length, and internode length, stem diameter, the 3rd internode diameter and chlorophyll content. Results confirm that influence of trinexapac-ethyl on winter triticale is changing depending on nitrogen fertilisation dose. Interaction between experimental factors was strongly determined by meteorological conditions during the vegetation season.Pozycja Open Access Ocena zawartości tłuszczu i cholesterolu w mięsie samic oraz samców okonia (Perca fluviatilis L.) z jeziora Gopło(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2009) Stanek, Magdalena; Dąbrowski, Janusz; Roślewska, Aleksandra; Janicki, Bogdan; Zakład Biochemii Środowiska, Wydział Hodowli i Biologii Zwierząt, Uniwersytet Technologiczno-Przyrodniczy w Bydgoszczy; Katedra Ekologii, Wydział Hodowli i Biologii Zwierząt, Uniwersytet Technologiczno-Przyrodniczy w Bydgoszczy; Zakład Biochemii Środowiska, Wydział Hodowli i Biologii Zwierząt, Uniwersytet Technologiczno-Przyrodniczy w Bydgoszczy; Zakład Biochemii Środowiska, Wydział Hodowli i Biologii Zwierząt, Uniwersytet Technologiczno-Przyrodniczy w BydgoszczyThe aim of the study was to compare fat and total cholesterol content in the muscles of females and males of perch (Perca fluviatilis L.) caught in fall and spring from Gopło Lake. Analyses were carried out on 10 females and 10 males in each season. Fat was extracted from meat with the skin using the procedure of Folch et al. (1957) and content of total cholesterol was determined by UV-VIS method according to Liebermann-Burchardt (StrzeŜek i Wołos 1997). Fat content was higher in the muscles of perch caught in fall, then in fish from spring. The mean value of fat in the meat of females and males caught in fall was 0,50 and 0,48%, respectively but differences were not statistically significant. There was no statistically significant differences in the mean value of fat in the meat of females (0,38%) and males (0,34%) caught in spring. The mean content of total cholesterol in muscles of females of perch caught from Gopło was higher in fall (67,11 mg 100 g-1), than in females from spring (47,76 mg 100 g-1), and this values differed statistically significant. Analysis indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in mean values of cholesterol in males from fall (45,93 mg 100 g-1) and in the muscles of males caught in spring (53,34 mg 100 g-1). The mean content of cholesterol in females was higher than in males and it was respectively 57,44 i 49,63 mg 100 g-1, and this values differed statistically significant.Pozycja Open Access Wpływ kwasów askorbinowego i cytrynowego na barwę przecierów warzywnych podczas sterylizacji(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2009) Przybylska, Sylwia; Katedra Technologii Żywności, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczecinieThere was examined the influence of citric acid (in concentrations of 0.5 and 1%) and ascorbic acid (in concentrations of 0.025 and 0.05%) on changes in colour of sterilized (118 and 121ºC) vegetable pulps. Obtained results of colour objective estimation (verified statistically) displayed that the addition of citric and ascorbic acids caused significant changes in colour parameters L*, a*, b*. The increase of antioxidants concentrations higher redness of colour in products and caused stabilization of carotenoid pigments. However, citric acid showed stronger influence on durability of pulps colour than ascorbic acid.Pozycja Open Access Quality of bread made from rye grown wiyh conventional and ecological methods(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2009) Wianecki, Marek; Iwański, Robert; Stankowski, Sławomir; Tokarczyk, Grzegorz; Felisiak, Katarzyna; Department of Food Science and Technology, West Pomeranian University of Technology, Szczecin; Department of Food Science and Technology, West Pomeranian University of Technology, Szczecin; Department of Agronomy, West Pomeranian University of Technology, Szczecin; Department of Food Science and Technology, West Pomeranian University of Technology, Szczecin; Department of Food Science and Technology, West Pomeranian University of Technology, SzczecinThere were checked the baking proprieties of six rye cultivars coming from conventional and ecological tillages. Bread made from rye grown with conventional method characterized with higher volume and imperceptibly lower baking loss. The way of tillage had no essential influence on porosity. Bread made from cultivar Conduct grown with ecological way received the highest notes in the sensory assessment (31.5 points). The addition of 1-moll lactic acid to the dough enlarged bread volume, bread porosity and the total baking loss, not influencing on the sensory assessment of breads. In dependence of analyzed feature of texture the factor of changeability (the way of tillage, cultivar and the method of baking) influenced on the reological properties of breads from rye flour in different degree. The hardness, gumminess and chewiness of crumb depended on way of tillage, then on cultivar as well as the addition of souring agent. The cohesiveness of crumb depended on the way of tillage mainly. However there was affirmed no influence of the studied variables on bread springiness.Pozycja Open Access Drzewa i krzewy wiejskich terenów przykościelnych w południowo-zachodniej części województwa Zachodniopomorskiego - między Odrą a myślą(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2009) Stachak, Aleksandra; Jurzyk-Nordlöw, Sylwia; Nowakowska, Małgorzata; Katedra Dendrologii i Kształtowania Terenów Zieleni, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Katedra Dendrologii i Kształtowania Terenów Zieleni, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Katedra Dendrologii i Kształtowania Terenów Zieleni, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczecinieIn 76 rural areas adjacent to churches – in the 74 villages – studied in the years 1999 and 2000, and next in the years 2006 and 2007, grow seldom are the following: Abies procera, Picea omorika, Pinus wallichiana, Liriodendron tulipifera, Berberis julianae, Berberis verruculosa, Tilia ‘Euchlora’, Tilia tomentosa ‘Pendula’, Prunus ‘Kanzan’, Ailanthus altissima, Cotinus coggygria, Cotinus coggygria ‘Rubrifolius’, Cornus controversa, Catalpa bignonioides.Pozycja Open Access Analiza składu chemicznego i wartości odżywczej białka zbóż pochodzących z gospodarstwa ekologicznego(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2009) Bobko, Kazimierz; Biel, Wioletta; Petryshak, Roman; Jaskowska, Izabela; Katedra Żywienia Zwierząt i Żywności, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Katedra Żywienia Zwierząt i Żywności, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Lwowska Państwowa Akademia Weterynarnej Medycyny im. The maximum value of AA was observed in the grain of the rye and the triticale. The first amino acid limiting the nutritive value of protein in all cereals was lysine. The EAAI (WE) values was characterised from 52.43 to 64.44, and a higher value of EAAI (MH) were observed in the grain of all cereals.Pozycja Open Access Zbiorowisko z Betula pendula i Populus tremula w zadrzewieniach śródpolnych zachodniej części Pojezierza Drawskiego(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2009) Młynkowiak, Elżbieta; Kutyna, Ignacy; Zakład Ekologii, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Zakład Ekologii, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczecinieIn the midfield afforestations of western part of Drawskie Lakeland step out the birchpoplar coppices, and in within them phytocenosis with Betula pendula and Populus tremula (Agrostio-Populetum tremulae tipical form and poor form), which was characterized basing on 19 phytosociological records. Betula pendula is a reigning species in community, and Populus tremula codominating. The verruculous birch (Betula pendula) occurs almost exclusively in layer of stand, however the aspen poplar (Populus tremula) is present and numerous in all layers of community. The structure of community builds 129 species, within them the most of forest species from − Querco-Fagetea class (32 taxa). In herbaceous layer predominate species from Molinio-Arrhentheretea class (24 taxa), less species occurs is from Artemisietea vulgaris class (16 taxa). The essential element of community structure is presence of species from Epilobietea angustifolii class (11 taxa). They decide about physiognomy of phytocenosis, because part of them achieves IV and V stability degree and considerable covering (e.g. Betula pendula S=V, D=3803, Populus tremula S=IV, D=763). The considerable variety of species in community results from its openness on penetration of species from different neighbouring habitats. From arable lands penetrate synanthropic species, and from meadows seminatural. Community of Betula pendula and Populus tremula is in phaze of reconstruction process of secondary succession aiming the direction of climax stage achievement - forest phytocenosis.Pozycja Open Access Wpływ dodatku marchwi na barwę rozdrobnionego mięsa z płoci(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2009) Przybylska, Sylwia; Iwański, Robert; Tokarczyk, Grzegorz; Katedra Technologii Żywności, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Katedra Technologii Żywności, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Katedra Technologii Żywności, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczecinieThe influence of Vita Longa’ carrot addition on mechanically deboned roach (Rutilus rutilus) meat (MOM) on its colour changes was analyzed. To recount values between the chlorophyll meters can be use equation: (N-tester reading) = 14.5·(SPAD reading) – 73.4.Pozycja Open Access Wpływ dodatku cukru i soli kuchennej na barwę przecieru marchwiowego podczas sterylizacji(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2009) Przybylska, Sylwia; Iwański, Robert; Tokarczyk, Grzegorz; Katedra Technologii Żywności, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Katedra Technologii Żywności, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Katedra Technologii Żywności, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczecinieThe influence of table salt and sugar on colour changes of fresh and sterilized (115ºC and 121ºC by 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90 min heating time) carrot pulps was tested. Independently from used agent, the changes in parameters L*, a* and b* increased with the temperature and heating time. They were expressed by the decrease of redness and lightness and the increase of yellowness. The 60–90 min heating time was differed significantly at p ≤ 0.05 in comparison to 15–45 min heating time in all tested variants. Sugar was more effective in colour and β-carotene stability in product. It was also taken as the better additive in the sensory evaluation.Pozycja Open Access Charakterystyka przyrodnicza obszaru byłej Akademii Rolniczej w Szczecinie położonego przy ulicach J. Słowackiego i Papieża Pawła VI oraz informacje o celu i metodach badań roślinności na tym obszarze(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2009) Kutyna, Ignacy; Nieczkowska, Małgorzata; Zakład Ekologii, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Zakład Ekologii, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczecinieThe town is an area differentiated ecologically both in respect of biotope and biocenosis. The area of the former University of Agriculture situated in Słowackiego and Papieża Pawła VI streets is a specific ecological system. It has peculiar features of urban environment such as much warmer and drier microclimate, and the soils are significantly converted. The aim of numerous studies is to determine plant communities and make an inventory of the dendroflora and bryoflora in this area. For this purpose, 213 phytosociological records were taken in 2006 and 2007 and dendroflora and bryoflora were determined. The results of the studies will be presented in several publications. In the examined area 39 comprehensive samples of soil were taken from the depth of 0–25 cm. Their pH, the content of CaCO3 and their granulometric composition were determined. The characteristic features of most soils are alkaline reaction and a differentiated content of CaCO3. In the surface layer of a soil, light loamy sands, heavy loamy sand and light loam dominate. They contain a significant amount of soil skeleton (remains of building work). The investigated area is "an island of heat", as it is sheltered from all directions by dense afforestation and buildings. These microclimatic conditions are favourable to the development of thermophilous plant communities.Pozycja Open Access Wpływ rodzaju opakowania na wybane zmiany fizyczne mielonek mięsnych w czasie zamrażalniczego przechowywania(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2009) Szczepanik, Grzegorz; Ogiejko, Magdalena; Bakan, Agata; Zakład Chłodnictwa, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Zakład Chłodnictwa, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Zakład Chłodnictwa, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczecinieIn the article the authors tried to analyse physical and rheological changes that take place during three months of frozen storage in four selected luncheon meat (poultry, coming from four different producers). Samples were stored in packages from polythene foil in the air atmosphere and in vacuum, during three months in temperature – 25oC. After frozen storage, decreases of weight of luncheon meat were measured (on the basis of sublimation decrease and defrosted leak) and changes of texture were analysed (covering mostly changes of its hardness and adhesiveness). Performed analyses showed that vacuum packages protected luncheon meat against qualitative and quantitative changes better than packages with air inside. In spite of changes in both hardness and adhesiveness, that was significant in Mielonka turystyczna. The kind of packaging was comparing. Has given an examination products in decided majority of cases did not show the essential negative changes of hardness and adhesiveness.Pozycja Open Access Ocena sposobu żywienia kobiet w okresie menopauzalnym - zdrowych i z leczoną osteoporozą(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2009) Goluch-Koniuszy, Zuzanna; Radziszewska, Magdalena; Dęga, Sylwia; Zakład Fizjologii Żywienia Człowieka, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Zakład Fizjologii Żywienia Człowieka, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Zakład Fizjologii Żywienia Człowieka, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczecinieThe goal of this research was the evaluation of nutrition and life-style of healthy women (aged 42–56) and women with treated osteoporosis (aged 33–60). The research was conducted in the form of a questionnaire, concerning the life-style and anthropometric data. The quantity and quality of three-day menus were also under evaluation. Only in 53% of women without osteoporosis and in 33% of women with osteoporosis a proper BMI index was ascertained. The life-style and the way of nutrition of women without osteoporosis and with osteoporosis was similar and differed from recommended in the osteoporosis prophylaxis and in its treatment. The use of condiments, low physical activity, improper structure of consumption of nutrition products and resulting from it deficiency of nutrition components protecting against the development and intensification of osteoporosis (Ca, Mg, Zn, C and B6 vitamins) and excess of ingredients which are favorable to its formation (animal protein, P, Na), was ascertained. Taking into consideration the above conclusions it seems necessary to educate society from the earliest possible age in the pro-health way of nutrition as a prophylaxis of osteoporosis in the aspect of treating it with proper nutrition.Pozycja Open Access Zbiorowiska seminaturalne z rzędu Arrhenatheretalia klasy Molinio-Arrhenatheretea występujące na terenie byłej Akademii Rolniczej w Szczecinie przy ulicach J. Słowackiego i Papieża Pawła VI(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2009) Kutyna, Ignacy; Nieczkowska, Małgorzata; Zakład Ekologii, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Zakład Ekologii, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczeciniePhytocenoses of Arrhenatheretalia order are representative in the investigated area for 46 vegetation patches classified into the complex of Arrhenatheretum elatioris and into the community of Poa pratensis-Festuca rubra. Arrhenatheretum elatioris complex is most frequently found on warm and dry small slopes situated in different places of the studied area, on moderately compact soils of alkaline reaction. The most species in the complex are representative for Molinio-Arrhenatheretea class (32 taxa), and some of them, Poa pratensis and Festuca rubra, reach a facial form in some vegetation patches. The structure of Arrhenatheretum elatioris complex has a character of a temporary community referring to phytocenoses of Artemisietea vulgaris class, which is represented by 30 taxa, of which Urtica dioica and Chelidonium majus reach a rank of facies in a part of patches. The vegetation patches in which Arrhenatherum elatius occurs were classified into Poa pratensis-Festuca rubra community. It also settles down on exposed to the sun and dry slopes of small hills, but it is also found on flat sheltered areas. Like in the previous complex, in the structure of this community the species characteristic of Molinio-Arrhenatheretea (27 taxa) and Artemisietea vulgaris (24 taxa) class are dominating. The structure of both seminatural communities found mainly in meadow habitats has a temporary character in the investigated area. A considerable number of species from Molinio-Arrhenatheretea class is a result of the activity of human being who introduced into the investigated area organic soils taken from meadows, containing reproductive organs of these species.Pozycja Open Access Nitrofilne zbiorowiska segetalne i zrębów występujące na terenie byłej Akademii Rolniczej w Szczecinie przy ulicach J. Słowackiego i Papieża Pawła VI(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2009) Kutyna, Ignacy; Nieczkowska, Małgorzata; Zakład Ekologii, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Zakład Ekologii, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczecinieIn the investigated area there are patches of segetal vegetation. They were defined as nitrophilous communities of Stellaria media. Species characteristic of Stellarietea mediae class are found in flower beds and also on the exposed and unsheltered surfaces formed by plant cultivation on these sites. These communities are floristically rich (112 taxa), and Stellaria media (S=V, D=870) is a dominating species. Apart from this nitrophilous taxon in the community structure there is a series of species of Molinio-Arrhenatheretea (26 taxa) and Artemisietea vulgaris (24 taxa). Communities of Stellaria media have the features of segetal plant communities, but its structure shows that they are undergoing a process of conversion leading to ruderal and seminatural communities. In the examined area there is also a floristically rich (102 taxa) complex of Calamagrostietum epigeji, typical of forest felling sites. Aside from a frequently found species of a characteristic complex of Calamagrostis epigejos (S=V, D=542), there are also numerous species of Artemisietea vulgaris (31 taxa) and Molinio- Arrhenatheretea (30 taxa) classes. Sparse species, characteristic of the latter syntaxon (Taraxacum officinale and Potentilla reptans) reach a facial form in some patches. Phytocenoses of Calamagrostietum epigeji complex settle down mainly in compact soils situated on small slopes adjacent to the inner roads of the area. They are also found on pavements and lawns.Pozycja Open Access Porównanie wzrostu i plonowania truskawki odmiany 'Aga' uprawianej w glebie zasobnej, nawożonej nawozami o zróżnicowanym składzie chemicznym(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2009) Ochmian, Ireneusz; Grajkowski, Józef; Popiel, Joanna; Strzelecki, Roman; Ostrowska, Krystyna; Katedra Sadownictwa, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Katedra Sadownictwa, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Katedra Sadownictwa, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Katedra Sadownictwa, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Katedra Sadownictwa, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczecinieThe experiment conducted at Pomology Research Station of Szczecin Agricultural University permitted to compare the influence of the three fertilizers which have the differentiated chemical composition. The qualitative features of triticale bread depended on species of triticale and method of tillage system. Both, the bakery properties and sensory evaluation a conventional tillage system bread were higher. The addition of 1-moll lactic acid to bakery processing enlarged porosity and total baking weight losses, but not influencing on sensory evaluation of bread. The TPA hardness of ecological tillage system bread were about 15% higher (average value – 676.9[G]) than conventional tillage system bread (average value – 576.4 [G]). Similar results were received in gumminess and chewiness of TPA tests. The addition of 1-moll lactic acid significant influenced on results in the TPA tests.Pozycja Open Access Wpływ systemów uprawy roli, gęstości i terminu siewu na zmienność plonowania odmian pszenicy ozimej(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2009) Weber, Ryszard; Zakład Herbologii i Technik Uprawy Roli, ul. Orzechowa 61, Instytut Uprawy, Nawożenia i Gleboznawstwa w PuławachThe investigation aimed at analyzing the variability in winter wheat cultivars yielding as depending on the tillage system, density and term of sowing. There were used two systems of tillage: conventional (plughing) and simplified. In each of them regarded were the following factors: I – terms of sowing: a) 14–16 September (early sowing); b) 1–3 October (optimum sowing); 15–17 October (delayed sowing); two sowing densities: A – 3000 grains per a square neter; B-450 grains per a square meter; III – winter wheat cultivars: Finezja, Rywalka, Kobiera, Satyna, Bogatka, Zawisza. At conventional tillage the optimum sowing term appeared conducive to stable yields of winter wheat, while delayted sowing term at simplified tillage and early at plough tillage were bringing about a considerable differentiation in the yields of the cultivars tested. The cultivar Finezja sown at the early term in decreased density show a tendency to produce higher yields as compared to those obtained at the optimum term, irrespective of the system of tillage. On the other hand, higher yields of the Satyna cultivar were obtained in conditions of early sowing term and simplified tillage. Cluster analysis revealed that the yields of Finezja anad Rywalka cultivars were depending on the sowing density to a lesser degree than those of the other cultivars tested.
