Pozycja Open Access Zastosowanie analizy harmonicznej do badania zmian temperatury powietrza w Szczecinie w cyklu rocznym(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2011) Gregorczyk, Andrzej; Michalska, Bożena; Katedra Agronomii, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Katedra Meteorologii i Klimatologii, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczecinieThe aim of the paper was to describe statistically changes of air temperature in the area around Szczecin over the years 1991–2000 and to apply for this purpose a time series of harmonic analysis in the annual cycle. On the basis of the original data, mean values of air temperature in Szczecin in individual months, standard errors and extreme values were shown. The mean air temperature in the studied decade (10 years) amounted to 9.03oC. A high significance of annual periodicity of the studied feature was proved. The mathematical model of temperature changes in the function of a successive day of the year was estimated. Very good matching of the harmonic curve to the real data (determination coefficient R2 = 0.993) was recorded.Pozycja Open Access Wpływ hydrożelu i rodzaju nawozu mineralnego na zadarnienie muraw trawnikowych o zróżnicowanym udziale życicy trwałej(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2011) Jankowski, Kazimierz; Czeluściński, Wiesław; Jankowska, Jolanta; Katedra Łąkarstwa i Kształtowania Terenów Zieleni, Uniwersytet Przyrodniczo-Humanistyczny w Siedlcach; Katedra Łąkarstwa i Kształtowania Terenów Zieleni, Uniwersytet Przyrodniczo-Humanistyczny w Siedlcach; Katedra Łąkarstwa i Kształtowania Terenów Zieleni, Uniwersytet Przyrodniczo-Humanistyczny w SiedlcachThe aim of this work was to determine the effect of hydrogel and type of fertilizer on the compactness of turf lawn with varying participation of perennial ryegrass. Lawn experience was conducted in the years 2002–2004 on the experimental plots in the system of randomized blocks with an area of 4 m2 (4 x 1 m) in four replications. In the study were used four commercially mixtures of grasses with different purposes and different percentage of perennial ryegrass: Wembley (80%) – M1; Parkowa (60%) – M2; Relax (40%) – M3 and Półcień (20%) –M4. Those mixtures were used with hydrogel applied in the subsoil or without his participation. In combination with hydrogel was used granulated polyacrylamide with the trade name Aqua-Gel P4. On the all experimental objects the mineral fertilization in the ratio 6 : 2 : 4 NPK was applied. It was used the following fertilizers: Pokon, Trawovit Komplet, Azofoska and propozed fertilizer. Each year of the study the compactness was evaluated. This evaluation was made according to the methodology IHAR (Prończuk 1993). In subsequent years of study, the mixture lawns gradually increased the degree of compactness, with higher values in the parameter obtained for these mixtures which grown on a substrate with the applied of hydrogel Aqua-Gel P4. Among the tested lawn mixtures the highest ability to compactness had Parkowa mixture (with 60% share of perennial ryegrass), and the weakest Relax mixture (with 40%). As a result of the effect of mineral fertilizers the best lawn compactness was obtained on the plots with Azofoska fertilization in the first year of studies, but in the second and third year after using of Trawovit.Pozycja Open Access Ocena plonowania wybranych odmian wysoko rosnących pomidora w uprawie polowej(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2011) Rekowska, Ewa; Jurga-Szlempo, Barbara; Katedra Ogrodnictwa, Pracownia Warzywnictwa, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Katedra Ogrodnictwa, Pracownia Warzywnictwa, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczecinieIn two-year experiment (2007–2008), the suitability of six indeterminate cultivars of tomato (Aurelius F1, Megana F1, Merkury F1, Red Chief F1 – greenhouse cultivars, and as model cultivars Malinowy Henryka and Złoty Ożarowski) for stake culture in the open field in the climatic conditions of West Pomeranian Region was estimated. Among tested tomato cultivars significantly higher marketable yield was obtained for Aurelius F1 and Megana F1 (respectively 48.35 and 47.40 t·ha–1). Moreover, cultivar Megana F1 was characterized by the highest participation of marketable yield in the total yield of tomato fruit. Analysis of the biometrical features showed that fruit of tomato cultivars: Aurelius F1, Merkury F1, Red Chief F1 and Megana F1 was characterized by significantly thicker pericarp in comparison with common field cultivar Malinowy Henryka. Comparing to this cultivar – higher fruit weight was noted for cultivars: Złoty Ożarowski, Red Chief F1 and Aurelius F1, Merkury F1.Pozycja Open Access Zbiorowiska roślinne na obszarze technicznie zrekultywowanego wyrobiska kopalni „Storkowo”(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2011) Kutyna, Ignacy; Młynkowiak, Elżbieta; Rzymska, Wioleta; Katedra Ochrony i Kształtowania Środowiska, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Katedra Ochrony i Kształtowania Środowiska, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Katedra Ochrony i Kształtowania Środowiska, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczecinieIn the area of a technically reclaimed pit of the sand and gravel „Storkowo” mine, 58 relevés were taken. The ground, which were naturally and spontanously settled by plant communities, is sandy. It is generally loose sand and slightly loamy sand of a slightly acid to alkaline reaction. The presence of CaCO3 was observed on the surfaces of some patches. Within the area of the sandy biotope, five plant communities were distinguished, four of them in the rank of an association. The Corispermo-Brometum tectorum association is the richest floristically (69 species), and it is characterised by the largest number of species in the phytosociologic relevé (on average 23 taxa) and the significant vegetation density (on average 51%). Its phytocoenoses are differentiated floristically and in the structure two variants were distinguished, typical and of aphid character and within the area of the latter, a subvariant from Hieracium pilosella. The Calamagrostietum epigeji association is characterised by smaller floristic differentiation (43 taxa) and the smallest number of species in the phytosociologic relevé (on average 14) and quite significant density of the patch surface (on average 87%). In the phytocoenoses, a typical variant was distinguished and the one of aphid character with domination of Ceratodon purpureus and Brachythecium albicans. The community of Corynephorus canescens is floristically the poorest (30 species). It is characterised by the smallest plant cover (on average 25%) and the smallest number of species in the relevé (on average14). The Holcetum lanati association is characterised by quite a significant number of species (59), large plant density (on average 91%), and the number of species in the relevé is not large (on average15 taxons). Phytocoenoses of the association were classified into three variants: a typical, with Vicia villosa and with Trifolium arvense. The Arrhenatheretum elatioris phytocoenoses are characterised by quite a significant number of species (61) and the largest density (on average 92%). Individual patches are abundant in species (on average 19 taxa were recorded in the relevé).Pozycja Open Access Zawartość polifenoli, właściwości przeciwutleniające oraz zdolności redukujące naparów herbat białych liściastych(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2011) Plust, Dominika; Czerniejewska-Surma, Barbara; Domiszewski, Zdzisław; Bienkiewicz, Grzegorz; Katedra Towaroznawstwa i Oceny Jakości, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Katedra Towaroznawstwa i Oceny Jakości, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Katedra Towaroznawstwa i Oceny Jakości, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie; Katedra Towaroznawstwa i Oceny Jakości, Zachodniopomorski Uniwersytet Technologiczny w SzczecinieThis paper defines the content of polyphenols, antioxidant activity against ABTS radicals and reducing power (FRAP) of white tea infusions. To determine total polyphenol content using the assay with Folin-Ciocalteau reagent, antioxidant properties was determined by TEAC and FRAP assay. It was demonstrated that white tea infusions have high antioxidant properties but varying dependent on size of the leaves.Pozycja Open Access Use of Ash and Slag from Power Generation in Agriculture of Russia(Wydawnictwo Uczelniane Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Technologicznego w Szczecinie, 2011) Putilov, Viacheslav; Stankowski, Sławomir; Putilova, Irina; Uchevatov, Alexander; Moscow Power Engineering Institute (Technical University); West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin; Moscow Power Engineering Institute (Technical University); Moscow Power Engineering Institute (Technical University)A practice of the global agriculture testifies that in areas with wash moisture regime it’s impossible to create high fertility of soil without liming. For example, soil in the Far East of Russia, Krasnoyarsk Region is the most acidic, has a heavy grain composition and is often overdamped. Therefore, to improve the growing conditions of crops and their nutritive conditions, it is necessary to apply ameliorants. The main chemical ameliorants of acidic soil are carbonates – limestone and dolomite. In connection with increase in price for transport services and prices for imported fertilizers attention is now paid to use of the recycled materials, including use of local ash and slag in agriculture as ameliorants and fertilizers. Moreover, in many cases there are large amounts of ash accumulated at ash disposals near operating coal- -fired TPPs. However, for using ash and slag for soil deoxidization relevant studies are to be carried out, taking into account specific properties of ash and slag materials and initial soil properties.
