The study utilised the results of a survey conducted from June to August 2009 in 29 agritourism farms operating in four communes of the district. It was found that the offer of the majority of the agritourism farms in the district provides active leisure in rural area but do not ensure participation in the activities of a farm. It seems that attractions offered to children, who constitute a large group of tourists, are relatively scarce. A unique offer would make possible increasing competitiveness and profitability of an individual farm. The responses given by the owners of the farms confirmed the opinion that at present agritourism cannot be treated as a basic income source but as an extra source.
