Abstract
Authors analyzed a chosen chemical properties of roadside grounds localized among
forest and field areas. Ice-removing chemicals using on road surfaces in winter had the
dominant influence on chemizm of roadside grounds localized to the distance of 2 m from roads
- to the border of drainage ditch. The values of soil salinity, pH, S and V decreased but values of
Hh increased together with distance from road. The NaCl content in grounds decreased c.a.
80–90% in spring-autumn period. The roadside grounds on arable area had 2–4 -times higher
level of salinity in relation to roadside grounds from forest area.
