    The article deals with the analysis of the results pig breeding farm belonging to the Zootechnical Institute in Cracov. The paper presents besides indices technical and financial efficiency of herd, also percentage structure of cash turnover in the period from 1957 till 1962. The autors proved that the but system leading of pig breeding herds reduse the death of the young pigs. In the analysed period took place remarkable progress in economic efficiency and of breeding standarts. In 1961/1962 in farm Ciołkowo one sow taking attained 8,7 percentage of the birth. In the year 1961/1962 taking everage was selled from one sow 9,2 young boars and the young sows. In 1961/1962 the pig breeding herds in Ciołkowo gives 692 825 zł net revenue.
