The objective of reserve established in 1985 is preservation of forest communities and characteristic moraine landscape. There have been found 11 species under legal protection and 3 habitats protected in Natura 2000 area (Galio sylvatici-Carpinetum, Galio odorati-Fagetum i Luzulo pilosae Fagetum).
