Abstrakt
The present study was aimed at determining the content of mineralj: omponents, i.e., Mg, Na, K, Ca, P and Li, in the breast and thigh muscles of 6-week-old cockerels and pullets of the Arbor Acres, Hybro N, Lohmann and Starbro lines. The studies included 96 broiler chickens in total (3 cockerels and 3 pullets out of each line and repetition) in to replicates. The content of these elements was determined in the breast and the thigh muscles separately with the ICP method.
In the performed studies, a higher content of Mg, К, P and Li was found in the breast muscles and of Na in the thight muscles. The level of Ca was similar in both types of muscles. The largest amount of Ca was found in meat of chickens of the Lohmann line compared to the remaining lines
